    Aa pug

I'm sure some of you remember back in AA2 we used mIRC for a lot in the community. We had #aascrim, #aaringer, and my favorite #aapug. Now, I do understand we no longer use this software for one reason or another. Pugs are a great way to get into a match with experienced players and really work on your game. Especially when you don't have 4 or 5 on for a scrim. My question for the community is, can anyone think of a way we can easily set up pugs every night for our community that doesn't involve messaging all your steam friends? Perhaps a steam community page? I don't know if this gives you a notification of sorts when someone posts in it. I feel this would benifit us to get more players interested in comp this more clans and a better community. We would be able to have an open league for new clans. Thoughts?

We are looking to potentially add a chat module to our site that may be able to handle this. If not, one of our AA Admins will setup a Steam Community group.

For the most part, many of the comp teams add each other on steam and is the easiest way to scrim/ring/pug. We have tried steam groups in the past and most people join then do not participate or do not check the boards. So sending a pm via steam makes it the best option to get a fast answer.

We would be able to have an open league for new clans.
Depending on how many teams we can get to signup for our future league. We are looking at splitting the league into 2 groups, for the newer teams will be in Open and the more experienced teams will be in Main.

We have a public teamspeak for which I encourage to be used for this reason. We have channels for looking for scrims and just putzing around as well. Come online and hang out.

If you look in steam, you can find 1 or 2 groups for that purpose.

    Discord?

We're using it for general stuff right now and so far it replicates a lot of what IRC had (but doesn't require additional software or an account).

We could set up a channel for it.
