In the end if people just stop and look a few common household items they use every day, I think you'd be surprised to find out that we are poisoning ourselves because we might sweat a little or because god forbid you might get a cavity.

MM doesn't have to worry about hygeine... He's British AND European... so.. stereotypically, he doesn't use anti-perspirant OR toothpaste!

Just bustin' balls

Well I don't have flouride in my water, as deemed un safe in my county, bur I do use toothpaste. I can't believe body spray was toxic I might remember that when I spray myself with a deoderant.

Deoderant is ok. Anti-Persperant has the aluminum in it.

That is a myth TC. Their is no study that has shown that the alumium in anti-perspant is directly or indirectly responsible for memory loss.

We know people with AD have higher aluminum levels, but they have not proven that anti-perspirants actually cause that. Its possible, but its not proven in any study that I have ever read or seen

Well no kidding. Of course there hasn't been studies done here on the affects of Flouride or a ton of other things that will kill you. Does that have anything to do with logic?

I don't cook in aluminum anymore, not unless its coated with Teflon. I also don't cook in the microwave in plastics because of the chemicals that are released during the heating process. But you know, no official study has been done on that either.

I will not use Teflon at all. If you use a teflon pan around birds it will kill them. Also, they are finding every person in the USA with teflon particles in their blood stream which is scary. I also am wary of the microwave and plastics as well

Telflon is a poison based on what I have read. Especially when its heated. Dupont has a plant here in Ohio and the death and cancer rates around that plant are very high. Is it a coincidence? Maybe, but it kills birds so how can it be good for other life? Im not comfortable using it based on that.

Breathing the air these days kills you to, I'm not planning on stopping that any time soon. Hey, keep using those antiperspirants, I want to remind you of this when you have Alzheimer's, even though you likely wont' remember the convo.

Snake,

You DO know that a lot of plumbers use teflon tape to join crew on joints together for our water and gas nowadays... right?

Or would you prefer the petroleum based plumbers goo to prevent the joints from leaking?

make sure there arent any knicks or scratches on your teflon. high temperature cooking apparently makes the teflon release some toxic gas....well, toxic in high concentrations or accumulated exposure.

because of this, we retired out teflon stuff and switches to stainless steel.

there was a lawsuit by Dupont women workers saying teflon caused birth defects on their new babies. of course, these women worked at the factory. totally different levels of exposure.

Dupont settled in undisclosed terms.

apparently, as much as teflon had been studied, no one knew that it caused birth defects, so they had not taken measures to keep it away from fertile women during the manufacturing.

just another example of stuff we find out after the fact cuz the scientissts themseleves didnt know.

of couse, i am waiting for our civilization to discover that stainless steel cookware is bad cuz of this or that. then i will eat raw food
