So does this mean that teams that do well in their divisions, but do not make first place, will not get a chance to advance to the next division?

You don't have to be in first place. The second place finisher will get a shot for sure, and in some cases the third place finisher, depending on the number of teams in the divisions and the amount of new teams signing up.

So up to 3 teams from say Division 3 will have the opportunity to move up to Division 2?

Actually, at the very least 8 will. 2 each from div3a, 3b, 3c, and 3d. They'll have to beat a team at the bottom of div2 to do it, though.

I'd like to sign my team up for Season 6. I was reading through the rules and came upon the Qualifying Match part, in which lead me to a thread for Season 5. At any rate here is my team's info as par to the thread for season 5 and if I'm in the wrong place to sign up then forgive the mistake and do feel free to tell me!
